Martini's have come a long way since they were first introduced. They are no longer straight vodka or gin with an olive or a twist. As a bartender I am always trying new recipes and I think this new Snicker's Martini is a home run.To create the best tasting Snicker's martini you will need the following liquors. One bottle of Stoli vanilla vodka, one bottle of Godiva white chocolate liquor, one bottle of Godiva dark chocolate liquor, and one bottle of Frangelico liquor. One will need a martini shaker and a 10 oz. martini glass. Start by filling the martini shaker to the top with ice. Pour 1.75 ounces of Stoli vanilla into the tin, add 1 ounce of Godiva white and dark to the mix. Finally add .75 ounces of Frangelico and a splash of half and half. Shake vigorously for thirty seconds. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a Snicker's mini chocolate bar. When it comes to ordering wine, know your flavor profile

     As a bartender for over 15 years I have had the opportunity to work in some very nice restaurants and taste the best wines in the world. My most common problem, when it comes to suggesting a glass for a guest, is that the guest can't verbalize what they like. Most people who enjoy wine really don't know what varietals fit their flavor profile. While some like a light Pinot Noir others enjoy a bold Red Zinfandel. I have a baseline of questions that I will ask so that I can steer the guest to the best options. Drinking wine is something that should be enjoyed and savored. Every person tastes different notes in wines which makes it enjoyable to see someone's face when you turn them on to a new varietal that they have never thought of trying. Obviously the  most popular wines out there are Cabernet's, Merlot's, Pinot Noir's, Chardonnay's, Sauvignon Blanc's, and Pinot Grigio's. This little guide will help you decide which wines fit your flavor profile so that when you are ready to order you will get the glass that you want.
     We will start with red wines and go from heavy to light. Obviously there are thousands of wines to choose from so we will stick to the most popular. When we say heavy we mean low sugar content and deep, dark fruits. We will start with Red Zinfandel which is a bold wine that usually has low sugar content thus giving it a dry finish. This means that the wine lingers in the mouth and the acidity feels like it is sucking the moisture off the tongue. This wine is not for everyone because of the bite, but if you like to taste the grape in it's natural state this wine's for you. Next is Cabernet Sauvignon which is one the most popular wines in the world. Cab's have made there way all over the world and are a thick skin grape that can survive in many different climates. Most Cab's have a little higher sugar content than Red Zin's so there can be a little more sweetness. The wonderful thing about Cab's is the variety out there. Cabs can be dry or sweet depending on the maker. I always suggest trying Cabernet's from different regions to expand your horizons and let the drinker see the subtle changes that a grape can have. One thing the drinker will notice from the first smell is the oak which Cab's are aged in. The oak barrels that Cabernet is aged in will give you hints of vanilla and spice which goes with the natural black currant and tobacco taste of the grape. Next we have Merlot's which have a little bit lighter body than Cabernet's. Merlot's like Cabernet's are often blended with other varietals to make meritage wines. Merlot's can best be described as fruity with berry, plums, and currants. The acidity is lower than Cabs so the wine is not as dry. If you like lighter wines and wants to taste more fruity wines than try Merlot's from cool climates. While Merlot's from warmer climates tend to have hints of chocolate and tobacco. Finally we have Pinot Noir's which are very light and fruity and low in acidity. I always suggest that novice wine drinkers start with a Pinot Noir then work their way up the tannin scale. Pinot Noir's are a very delicate grape and can produce some of the best wines in the world. The flavor tends to be more from strawberry, raspberry, or even cherry. No matter which red you decide is for you there are thousands of each varietal to choose from.
     Then there are the white wines. I have chosen three to describe and which I think are the most popular right now. First we have Chardonnay's which are the most popular white wine. Chardonnay's are used to make Champagne and sparkling wines. Chardonnay grapes are lean and crisp with a high acidity. American Chardonnay's are most notably aged in oak barrels which cuts down on the acidity and enhances the flavor. Depending on the climate and the region you can get notes of honey or even tropical fruit. Chardonnay's are often described as buttery and are highly influenced by the wine maker. Next there are Sauvignon Blancs which is also known as Fume Blanc. Sauvignon Blancs generally do not get aged in oak like Chardonnay's and have a citrus flavor and smell. It is a light refreshing wine that can go nicely with certain fish and poultry. Sauvignon Blancs are a great wine that is perfect for someone looking to taste their first glass of wine. Lastly we have Pinot Grigio's which are also called Pinot Gris here in the U.S. Pinot Grigio's are most popular from Italy and can be sweet or dry. It is a very light wine that has a different flavor depending on the region. Pinot Gris in the U.S. can range in taste from hints of apple, melon or even pears. Pinot Gris is a great wine that can be very refreshing and not too complicated. Whether you try the American Pinot Gris or the Italian Pinot Grigio the subtle differences in regions will keep you coming back for more.

I have been in sales for 14 years and I can tell you that I can read a person just by what they are wearing. I know that sounds like bull but I can give you examples of what I have learned over the years looking at the way a person dresses. The number one thing I look at is the watch a person chooses to wear. There is nothing worse than a person dressed in a 100 dollar suit wearing a knock off Rolex that is suppose to be worth 10 thousand dollars. Your jewelry is a dead give away to anyone who knows what to look for. When we first meet people we take in the whole package then we look at accessories such as rings, watches, and any other form of jewelry. When I see someone dressed conservatively with a watch that is classy and not too gaudy I think they are sensible and don't like to waste money. When I see someone dressed conservatively with a fake watch with fake diamonds floating in the watch I think they are pretenders. You can look like a million dollars without wearing that awful watch with the huge face and all those fake diamonds in it. There are hundreds of styles that don't cost an arm and a leg and are quality watches that make you look like a true professional. If you are wearing a nice suit and you are sporting a huge faced gaudy watch with way too many sparkles on it then I immediately think of rappers. I am never going to buy anything from a guy who idolizes rappers. That fake watch lost you a potential sale because I can't trust anything you say to me. If you are willing to pretend to impress people then I don't want your product. I know this may sound harsh but it is the real world. I have done business with multiple millionaires and I have never seen one wearing anything resembling the crap you are wearing. So, what should you wear to look the part? Instead of spending 500 dollars on a fake Rolex, use that money to buy 2 quality watches from Bulova, Citizen, or Seiko. There are brands like Invicta, Skagen, and Sartego that are a couple hundred dollars and look much more expensive. Be sensible and get a watch that will show that you are a responsible adult who doesn't waste money on watches and your clients will be more impressed. If you make it big someday and want to waste thousands on a watch than get one that will increase in value. Rolex uses a lot of gold in their watches and will only increase in value. Dirty martini recipe that's simple

You may ask yourself how come when I go to a nice bar is their dirty martini tastier than the one I can make at home. It's simple, it's the olive juice. If you want to make the best dirty martini ever than follow these simple steps. First, you need a quality vodka. I choose Ketel one vodka for all my vodka drinks. Then you will need the right kind of olive juice. I only use spanish olive juice straight out of the jar. The pre-mix olive juices sold at liquor stores is crap. The little jar of olives has no taste. If you really want to taste the best, than get a big jar of Spanish queen olives with the pimento's. First, add 3 ounces of Ketel one vodka to your martini shaker and pack with ice. Then add an ounce of olive juice straight out of the jar and shake vigorously for thirty seconds. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with three olives. I like to stuff mine with bleu cheese but you can do it any way you like. It's that simple. Do not add vermouth at any time. Dry vermouth ruins a perfectly good martini. I have been making martini's for 15 years and I have never used vermouth. You can use less or more olive juice depending how dirty you want to be. The more you add the saltier it will taste so be careful. American Idol is rigged, the final five are being played and so is America

Elise Testone is eliminated from American Idol which came as no surprise. My problem that I have always had with American Idol is that I think it is rigged. As I stated in last weeks blog the show is rigged to make millions by putting certain singers in the bottom three. Last week I thought that Joshua or Skylar would be put in the bottom three to ensure that the country vote or the minority vote would come out this week. Skylar was put in the bottom three and now this week the country vote will catapult her to the top. If things go as I believe they will then this week Joshua will be put at risk to get the minority vote push for this weeks show. Now that we are down to the final five it is time for Phillip Phillips to get his turn in the bottom three. I really believe that to ensure that the show makes more money, Joshua Ledet and Phillip Phillips will land near the bottom. America is being played by the producers. There is no way that Phillip Phillips is the top three singers in this competition. I know this show is not only about singing but also about performing. The best singers on this show are Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Skylar Lane in my opinion. However, just being the best singer does not always win this show. The producers know that to garner as many votes as possible and make millions more they need to piss America off. So I fully expect Joshua and Phillip to be in the bottom three. The producers know that if they put these two in the bottom three the minority vote and the teenage female vote will come out in droves. So, I know that I have predicted the last two weeks pretty closely to what actually happened. Now, let's see if my theory is true. Holli Cavanaugh has been near the bottom every week so I expect she will be the third in the bottom three with Joshua and Phillip. Holli will garner the teenage boy vote which will leave Jessica and Skylar as the top two singers left. I would like to see the best singer win this competition but if it's not profitable for the show then the American Idol winner might not be the best singer. So who is the next to go? I really think Phillip Phillips will be voted off this week. Let's see if I am right and we will see how the rest of the season plays out. I know that it is each person's opinion about who they think is the best. So this is just my opinion and if you disagree then let me know what you think will happen and we will see who is right. American Idol is rigged but we never rip you off when you want a watch at a great price.

American Idol is rigged, I knew it

Last week I blogged about American Idol and how I thought it was rigged. In that blog I stated that if things were as I suspected then Jessica Sanchez would be elevated back to the top after being almost voted off last week. Jessica Sanchez is the best singer on the show hands down. This week, just as I thought, Jessica was voted in and Colton was voted off.  Amazingly last nights show received 53 million votes. Think about it, the most votes of the year. Why? Because the producers knew if they pissed America off they would get more votes. They made millions by putting the best singer in the bottom. This weeks bottom three consisted of Elise, Colton, and Hollie. These three deserve to be in the bottom three with the exception of Hollie. Now that Colton has been voted off, what is next? Well, this show is on air to make money so if everything stays in line then next week Skylar and Joshua will be put in the bottom three. I am not saying that I know what is going to happen next, but I have been right so far. Let's see how many votes the producers can get by putting the country vote into play. Or they might consider the minority vote by putting Joshua in the bottom three. I am not saying that our votes don't matter but they most likely don't. So, we wait until next week to see if America votes to put either Skylar or Joshua in the bottom three. If I am wrong then I will stop claiming the show is rigged. If I am right then I will continue to try and predict what's next. Either way, your vote really doesn't matter and the producers of American Idol are going to do whatever it takes to make millions more of America's hard earned money. Don't get ripped off anymore, get your watches at the lowest prices here.

I have been bartending for years and I have seen a lot of things that would blow your mind. Tonight I was reminded of something that happened 6 years ago. I am telling this story as a warning to everyone out there who thinks they can be an annoying customer and not have anything happen. I worked with a guy who I will call Tim. Tim was a great guy from California who was a new bartender at our new restaurant here in Florida. One night this woman came in and was a total bitch to Tim. He took a lot of crap and kept running in circles to make her happy. I knew the woman, and I also knew that she wouldn't stop until she received something free. Most people don't realize that privately owned restaurants don't follow the same guidelines as corporate restaurants. This was a privately owned restaurant and we didn't give a shit about peoples small time complaints. So, back to this woman. She sent back 3 drinks that she said had no tequila in them. This woman was drinking margarita's in a martini glass.She specifically requested a salt rim and lots of foam on the drink. This bitch sent drink after drink back just to bust Tim's balls. Finally Tim had enough. He comes to the other side of the bar and grabs me by the arm and pulls me into the kitchen. "This woman is making me crazy", he said in an excited voice. "Screw her, watch this", Tim took out a martini glass from the dirty dish rack. He then pulled out a small plate from the dirty dish area. He heaved back and forth and brought up the biggest snot pile from his throat and spit it on the plate. He then took the martini glass and twirled the rim in the pile of spit. We then walked out to the bar and he rimmed the glass with salt. Tim then walked over to the offending woman and said, "I am so sorry for the misunderstanding, this drink is on me." The woman smiled with total satisfaction and said, " I hope it's better than the last three." Tim went about his usual routine and made the drink exactly as he had made the last three. Tim delivered the drink and apologized again. We sat and watched as this woman licked every inch of the glass and enjoyed every drop. I am not saying that what Tim did was right, but I never have been so happy to watch someone lick the salt off a margarita. Don't ever mess with people who serve you on purpose. I know that there are legitimate complaints. I have complained before. When you try to beat the system by being an ass, it will come back and bite you.Don't be a loser, get the watch that will make you a winner.

American Idol is rigged to make millions

For years I have heard people talk about American Idol and how mad they were when the person they thought was the best did not win. This season I decided to watch for myself and see what all the hype was about. I have watched every show this year and I have agreed with all the judges choices. They are now down to the final seven contestants and I think Jessica Sanchez is by far the best singer. Last night during the results show Jessica Sanchez was voted off by America. The outrage of the judges and fans was evident and Jessica was saved with the one save the judges have for the year. Every person I talked to has said they thought Jessica was the best of all the singers on this years show. Now I know that it is each persons own taste that makes them like or dislike a singer. But, her talent is undeniable and there is no way that America is this bad at judging talent. So why would Jessica be voted off if her talent is so evident to everyone? There is a very simple answer. MONEY. American Idol makes millions of dollars every week by having people vote by phone and text. It's absolutely genius what they do. The whole nation is emotionally invested in one of these final seven contestants. If  they put the best singers in the bottom three then millions of outraged viewers will vote to save their favorites. Think about it, if 70% off all viewers think Jessica is the best than the show will make a lot more money than if they put her in the bottom. If they put another contestant in the bottom and only 30% off Americans think they are the best singer then you are looking at a big difference in votes for the bottom person. Now if my thoughts about this are correct then next week Jessica Sanchez will be in the top three and one of the top three from this week will be put in the bottom three. Americas vote is never shown for a good reason. The producers of the show can make the numbers favor whoever they think will get more votes and generate more money. All of the contestants will make records and be signed to big contracts. It happens every year, but for the show to not show the number of votes each person received is suspect. As Americans we know that elections can be rigged so why can't a TV show be rigged? I want the best person to win American Idol, but I really don't think they will because there is no transparency in the voting process. American idol may be rigged but we are not at Price Hunters watches

Every night I watch people on first dates and I know why guys are so clueless and can never close the deal. There is a reason women are not responding to you. You don't know how to talk them. If you are on a date with a woman you are really interested in, never let her know how much you are into her. Just because she is having fun and is laughing at your stupid jokes, does not mean she wants to get married and have your children. Coming on too strong is a real turn off to any woman. I had a guy at my bar tonight and he was a real tool. He had this very attractive young lady that he met for drinks at my bar. As I listened to this conversation I quickly realized this guy was an idiot and had no idea how to talk to a woman. As they got comfortable and had a few drinks this moron rambled on and on about his business. He never once asked her about her likes and dislikes. All this guy could do was talk about his stupid job and how much money he made. Then he got drunk and started telling me "look how good I did", "she's hot isn't she?" Every time he made a comment she rolled her eyes. The guy went to the bathroom and she looked at me and said "this guy is a real jerk" She then asked me what I thought about him. Being the professional I am I looked at her and took the high road,  and told her that I could not understand how she could be hanging out with this guy. She had been set up by mutual friends. When I asked her if there would be a second date she almost fell off her stool laughing. "I am trying to figure out how to get the hell out of here." So I want all you guys that think you are hot shit to know women hate your type. You may have a ton of money but you have no people skills. You will never meet the right woman because you think they want a guy who is cocky and arrogant. I can tell you right now that you will meet the right woman eventually and her stage name will be Candy and her real name will be Kandy with a K. She will be smoking hot and have no brain. She will bring her hot friends over to have threesomes and eventually you will marry her. You will have one child and that child will never listen to you because you are hard at work trying to keep your ex-stripper wife happy with expensive gifts that she will never wear. You will quickly learn that your wife is cheating on you with one of your friends and has been doing so for years. Your cheating ex-stripper wife will then take your child and move far away and take half your stuff. You will then have to pay her a monthly fee to keep her expensive taste going. Only then will you realize that all the years of being an obnoxious idiot were a complete waste. Don't be this guy. If you want to impress women then ask them about themselves. And always listen to what they have to say. If you want to impress her then wear a watch that will surely get her attention. Don't pay retail for that incredible watch.

Every day I get women at the bar that who do not know what to drink for a martini and they really want to try something easy to drink. For the best tasting raspberry lemon drop martini that you will ever have you will need the following. Stoli raspberry vodka, chamboard raspberry liquor, sweet and sour mix, and sugar. Get your martini shaker and fill with ice. Pour 2 ounces of stoli raspberry vodka, add 1/2 ounce of chamboard liquor, add 2 ounces of sweet and sour mix. Shake vigorously for thirty seconds. Cell phone etiquette, we don't want to hear you

With the advent of new technologies and communication devices more and more people are using their cellphones for everything from shopping to phone calls. The problem is there is no rules for people on cell phones. Our rule at my bar is if you are on a cell phone you will not be served. There is nothing more frustrating then a person on a cell phone sitting at a crowded bar having a conversation that the rest of us don't want to hear. If you walk into a bar on your phone do not come to the bar to get served. Do not tell me to wait for you while you finish your conversation. You came to me to get a drink. I don't give a crap that you need to answer this call or that you need to call the office. Get your work done before you walk into a public area. The person sitting next to you does not want to hear about your relationship or your job. My regulars come to the bar to get away from it all and you are sitting there talking to some other idiot and pissing everyone off. I don't know when people forgot how to act but this is driving me crazy. I watch as every person who walks into the bar alone has the phone to their ear talking to God knows who. It's like a safety blanket for people now. We know that there is no one on the other end of that phone. Your friends are avoiding you for a reason. You are a loser. You do not look cool walking around in circles trying to find someone that will acknowledge your presence. We do not want to hear about your fake business deals that are never going to happen. I love when guys sit on their phone and talk about million dollar deals with their made up friend on the other end in an effort to impress the people around them. You are not impressing anyone. You are being rude! When did people forget manners? There is a way to make and receive calls in public without pissing the rest of us off. The fact that most people don't know how to act is really scary. Having a conversation on your cell phone should never take place around strangers. We all get calls at bad times. Excuse yourself from the public area and take the call outside the bar or any public place you may be. If you are compelled to contact every person in your phone to see what they are doing then get the hell out of my space. If your friends wanted to hang out with you they would have called. They are avoiding you for a reason.
     Also, there is nothing more amazing to me then two people on a date who are constantly on their phones. If you really want to hang out with someone then why are you on the phone the whole time? If I was hanging out with a woman and she was on her phone the whole time, I would assume that I was boring and she was looking for something more interesting. It is really rude to be on your phone when your date is sitting there alone. The fact that people don't realize how rude that is tells me how selfish some people are. Some day soon cell phones are going to be outlawed in public spaces because of the ignorance of cell phone abusers. I ask that the rest of us ignore anyone on their cell phone. I will never serve anyone on their cell phone. Finish your call and quit being so rude and join the rest of us. You are not the President and there is no need for you to be in constant contact with the world.

Greedy banker a hoax? Maybe, but it does happen everyday

I recently posted a blog about a banker that left a 1% tip on a large lunch bill and told the server to "get a real job". I wanted to say that although this story has been labeled a hoax and has since been denied, that this happens everyday. I have been bartending for over 15 years and I can tell you that some people think they are better than the person serving them. I am not saying that you should tip someone 18% to 20% who gives you lousy service. I understand that some server's and bartender's are really bad at their job. I work in a very affluent area and most of my customers are in the 1%. I have met some of the best people in my life who are very wealthy. I can tell you without a doubt, that a small percentage of people out there are bitter towards anyone that serves them. Some people are just not happy no matter how well you serve them. I was once told by a wealthy client that I do not want the problems he has. This gentleman owned multiple companies and was so afraid that he would lose all his belongings. He explained to me that once he became successful, he had to make more and more money to live the lifestyle that he had become accustomed too. Now that he had so much money and houses he was worried about other's stealing from him. I understand his fears and I really felt sorry for him. He had worked his whole life to build this empire and could not relax and enjoy it. After hearing all his woes I wanted to tell him my fears. He was a regular of mine for 10 years so I felt like I could be honest and really tell him what fear was.
     I worked with server's who were single mothers. I watched a 23 year old girl with a 2 year old child try to work as a server and go to school. She had her mother to help watch her baby, but she went to school all day and worked all night. She was trying to give her child a better life. This girl came to work with the best attitude and was an excellent server. I saw a table of 4 women come in and treat her like crap for their own amusement. This girl would never say a bad word about anyone and these women complained about everything in an effort to get free food and drinks. The restaurant I worked in at the time was well known for excellent food. Yet, these women would eat most of their meals then complain to the manager. They complained about the service which is a joke. There bill after all the free comps was over 300 dollars. The woman who paid the tab put a big fat 0 with a line through it on the tip line. These women were in the 1% and didn't care that the person they just screwed over was a single mother who didn't know how she would pay for electric to keep her baby warm. These wealthy women had forgotten what it was like to worry about how they would get food, diapers, healthcare, and everything that every person wants to give their child. These 1% people had forgotten that this girl would have to pay the bar, the server assistant, and the food runner a percentage of her sales. For this girl to wait on this table cost her 22 dollars out of her pocket. I explained to my wealthy friend that not knowing if you can pay your bills is real fear. Not knowing if you can pay rent is real fear. If you have so much money that your only fear is holding onto it, you have no idea what fear is.
    So what is the point of this blog? I guess it's up to the reader. I have worked my tail off just like most of you out there. I chose to be a bartender so I could work to opening my own business during the day. My point to all the 1% is that you have no idea who is serving you. I know that you have your own worries and I understand. Next time you are out at a restaurant or bar, remember that the person serving you is not your servant. We work in customer service just like any other service you receive. Those of us that are good will go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. When we give you great service you should tip accordingly. Most people get a check every 2 weeks with the same amount on it. Greedy banker leaves 1% tip on $133 lunch tab

Today I got up to find this story from Newport Beach Ca. about a banker who is so proud that he is in the 1% that he only tips 1% if the server does not bow down to his greatness. The banker circled the word tip and wrote the words "get a real job". As a bartender in a upscale bar/restaurant I see the 1% every day and I can tell you that most of them that I deal with are good people who have worked hard to get where they are. But, there are those who think they are above any person who serves them. I have found that people that act like this banker are usually people that have never had to earn anything in their lives. People who were born into money and had the easy road to the top. I am talking about people who never had to be a server at a restaurant to pay for college. It is easy to go to college and cruise through when you have mommy and daddy paying your way. Giving you unlimited money to spend on books, food, rent, car, and all the things that college kids need. Those of us that did not have the money from our parents had to work our asses off to pay the tuition. We came out of college thousands of dollars in debt because of student loans and borrowing just to get by. While you were at the frat house with your buddies, we were working the night shift to pay for everything you received for free. I hate to break it to the 1% but most of us choose to do this job because we have other jobs or businesses. The person serving you may have more money than you. I personally know people that make over 100k in cash every year just by working nights as a server or bartender. While you are going to your 9 to 5 job with the rest of your buddies we are creating new businesses and using our time to work for ourselves so that when we do "get a real job" it will be working for ourselves. When you go to a restaurant or bar you should never assume that the person serving you has less than you do. Some of us own businesses and make a lot of money. I enjoy my job as a bartender and I don't care what the 1% thinks. I have made more connections then you will ever have. I meet very wealthy people every day who give me the connections I need to be successful in whatever I choose to do. Some day soon I am going to walk into your bank and you are going to kiss my ass because you are going to want my business. Unfortunately for you though, I know when someone thinks they are better than me. I know this because I have been reading people for years. I won't use your bank because you are not bowing down to my greatness enough. Then I am going to give you a tip. Treat people with the same respect you would like to be treated with. You may be working for them someday. Don't be a greedy banker, save money on your new watch.

Every night I serve bottles of wine to couples and watch as guys have no idea what the hell they are doing. As a man you should know the right etiquette when it comes to wine service. After you order your wine the person serving you the wine is going to bring the bottle and show it to you so you can confirm that it is the correct bottle. The server will then open the bottle and pour a small amount into your glass and present you with the cork.You then check the cork to make sure it is moist which lets you know the bottle was stored properly on it's side. Do not sniff the cork. It makes you look like an idiot. Look at the glass of wine and swirl it in the glass to release the flavors. Sniff the wine in the glass to get the notes of the wine. Take a small sip and let the wine wash over your whole tongue. Then let the server know that the wine is good and ready to serve. Ladies glasses are always filled first and the man's glass is filled last. You now know what you are doing when it comes to wine service. I watch guys try to pick up women and they never remember their name. If you meet a strange woman in a bar and have any intention on getting a date or even hooking up for the night, you better know her name. I have found that when you are drinking alcohol things are a little harder to remember, so use this trick and her name will be stuck in your head forever.When you introduce yourself and she tells you her name, use her name immediately in your conversation. Call her by her name every time you address her and it will stick with you. Associate her name with someone you know very well and make sure you use her name over and over again. As a bartender in a busy bar I see all kinds of couples that I wonder how they make it. Guys have a tendency not to pay attention to women after they get them in a relationship. I can tell you from experience that if you don't pay attention to the little things she will find someone who does. If I know what your girlfriend or wife drinks and you don't, then there's a problem. Order her drink correctly and know what she likes and she will respond favorably. She may not be in the mood for that vodka drink but she will drink it happily if you order it for her. Women want to know that you pay attention to everything in their life. Not knowing the small things she prefers is a sign that you don't give a crap about her. Now I know that sounds extreme, but believe me, they keep track and will throw it back at you when you least expect it. There are plenty of guys that would gladly take your place. Those guys will give her the attention you are not and you will be a memory. So, if you want to keep that relationship going learn the small things. I am always amazed that guys have no idea what women want and they have no idea how to make drinks that women will love. Do you want to stand out from the other guys out there. I have a great Sangria recipe that will help you make her feel real comfortable. You will need a bottle of red wine, I prefer pinot noir for sangria. A bottle of peach schnapps, a bottle of brandy, a large pitcher, fresh oranges, fresh lemons. Dump the bottle of wine into the pitcher, add 6 ounces of peach schnapps, 4 ounces of brandy, and 2 whole oranges slice into wheels. Also add 1 whole lemon sliced into wheels. Add 1/2 cup sugar and stir all the ingredients together. Put the pitcher in the fridge and let stand for at least 2 hours. When your sangria is nice and chilled it is ready to serve. Pour into a large wine glass and add some fruit from the sangria mix as garnish. This sangria is delicious and will make her wish she had come to your house sooner.
