Treat your bartender right and get rewarded

I am a bartender in Orlando, Florida. I have wanted a forum to air my views and thoughts on the public at large. Every day I will blog about my work and the idiots that I come in contact with on a daily basis. I will give tips to the general public to help them in bar situations and let them know what really pisses off the people who are waiting on them. Today's lesson is tipping. Never tell the bartender that you are going to give them a big tip later. If you are sitting at a bar and want the bartender to "hook you up" tip him/her big on your first drink. The bartender will remember you and will give you a stiff drink and better service if you tip big on your first drink. As bartenders in a busy bar we do not like "verbal" tips. Ninety nine percent of verbal tips never work out. Also, 15 percent is not a good tip. 15 percent is for average service. Tip your bartender over 18 percent and we will remember you and your drink forever. Come back every day for your tip of the day and visit my website http://www.mypricehunters.net for the best deals on brand name watches every day.
